If you own a Mac, Mac magazines alert you to new products, uses for your hardware, upgrades. MacLife tends to be more evenhanded; I learn more about things like iPhone/iPad apps and what they do from MacLife.

MacLife is a great magazine for people who love their Mac's and want to get the most out of them. Whether its in product recommendations or in stories, the magazine is well worth the subscription price.

As someone who does not use a Mac but regularly uses all else Apple, it's nice to get some insight into what's going on, how to manage, and all things iPhone and otherwise Apple. The mag is nicely made and laid out, contains enough in depth information without being too geek or being too much fluff. An enjoyable read for someone who is not a regular Mac user.

I had a ML subscription a few years ago and let it run out b/c I got tired of the advertising. The new mag has a lot of tips in it that I find useful. So far, so good!
