The SO-20 will automatically detect any available networks, and you can simply select your preferred network and input a password if necessary. From there, sign directly into your existing Skype account, or create a new free Skype account right there on the phone. The SO-20 will connect to your account and import your contact list, along with such things as Skype Credit. Non-Skype mobile phone or landline users can call you directly if you opt into the SkypeIn program, while you can call non-Skype phones via the optional SkypeOut program. Your Skype voicemail (another optional service) is also easily accessible.
